As Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) platforms become increasingly mainstream, higher education institutions face a critical "adoption gap." My research reveals that while students are eager to integrate these tools into their learning processes, institutional policies are often ambiguous, lag behind technological developments, and leave students vulnerable to academic misconduct. Currently, ethical AI training is individualized and unfocused, effectively forcing students to navigate complex academic integrity landscapes without institutional guidance.Â
To bridge this institutional divide, I developed a comprehensive, mobile-friendly e-learning curriculum in Rise 360 designed to move students from passive compliance to active, critical engagement with AI. The curriculum, titled Left on Their Own Devices, provides a structured, evidence-based pathway for students to understand, evaluate, and ethically utilize GenAI in their coursework.
Tools Used: Articulate Rise 360 (Course Design), Adobe Express and Photoshop
Total Runtime: Approximately 60 minutes
Scope: Four comprehensive learning modules with 12 distinct learning objectives.
Format: Scalable, LMS-ready SCORM/xAPI packages designed for institutional licensing and compliance tracking.
