Welcome to the design gallery for my Ethical AI Use learning series. This collection features key interactive components from my ethical AI training series. By focusing on purposeful, scaffolded learning, I designed these elements to move students beyond passive awareness, equipping them with the critical thinking skills required to manage AI responsibly throughout their academic journey.
Design Rationale: To move learners beyond passive reading, I created this interactive spectrum to display the varying levels of AI use. This allows learners to see the process of AI becoming more or less ethical based on where a specific activity lies on this spectrum while reducing cognitive load.
Design Rationale: I designed this mental model to simplify a complex, multi-layered regulatory environment. By moving learners from macro-level government mandates (base) to micro-level syllabus policies (apex), I reduced cognitive load and provided a clear, visual hierarchy for compliance.
Design Rationale: This branching scenario places the learner in a "near-miss" academic situation. By requiring them to navigate a gray area rather than just memorizing a policy, the scenario builds authentic digital citizenship and demonstrates the practical application of the Human-in-the-Loop methodology.
Design Rationale: This block serves as the course capstone. I structured this as a high-stakes, binding behavioral commitment, requiring 100% agreement. It signals to institutional partners that this curriculum is a measurable, actionable tool for managing academic integrity.
